About Alexander Campbell
Alexander Campbell was the youngest of 14 children of John of the Bank and Anne Carolina Campbell of Tofts and St Germain Alexander born in Edinburgh 20 February 1770 and died in Calcutta 1821. He started first to work for the Hon. East India Company but started later a company called Gould, Campbell & Co. He married Mary Frazer on 13 Dec 1811. They had two daughters, Ann (1813-1863) and Mary 1817-1864).
Ann married Nils Gustav von Schoultz 1834 and had two daughters, Mary and Anna. Mary married a second cousin Carl Fredrik von Schoultz, with a daughter Carin
