Captain in Vestmanlands Regiment

It would appear that the existence of Captain Alexander Hamilton is known only from Swedish authority. If it is accepted that he was a son of Archbishop Malcolm Hamilton, then it might be supposed that he must have been born after the Archbishop made his last will and testament on 27 August 1627 for he is not mentioned therein.
