About Alexander Alexandrovich Michelev
Lieutenant colonel in the 6th Railway Battalion. After the revolution, moved to Olonets (Aunus) and worked as an engineer. When the revolution spread to Olonets, he was arrested by the Bolsheviks. According to family folklore, Varvara somehow managed to negotiate his release. The family escaped to Finland but Alexander returned to Russia to fight in the Northeastern Army (the White Army) with his brother Ivan. His rank in the White Army was colonel (source: Бойков, 2009).
Last letter that Varvara received from Alexander was sent from Danzig in 1920, where he was hospitalized.
