Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2010 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Alex Pallansch, Jr., age 82, who died Thursday at the St. Benedict Senior Community. Burial will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday and from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Monday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. followed by a rosary with the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Jr. was born in Richmond, MN to Alex, Sr. and Barb (Engelhard) Pallansch. He worked at various places including, Radisson Hotel in Mpls., Cold Spring Granite, Franklin Mfg. and retired from Richmond Concrete Products. Jr. enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching the Richmond baseball team. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish and Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors include his sisters, Kathleen Botz of St. Cloud, Clare Ann Krueger of Richmond, Mary (Ralph) Weber of White Bear Lake, Ann Kaufmann of Oakdale; brother, John (Rita) of Roseville; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irene Miller and Ellen Ameden.

Memorials are preferred to the St. Cloud Hospital Home Care & Hospice or St. Benedict Senior Community.
