(haven't researched this information but suspect there is a kinship between Alexander & 2 other WHITWORTH men also living in close proximity, both born in Tenn. - Fields, 63y/o & wife Ann, 45, living 3 houses down, & living next to him is Elias, 33, who may have been widowed - he had 3 children, daughter Philis A. - 8 & sons Andrew - 3, & 8 month old Fields.)

Several notes of interest:

1. ) I suspect that William A. CAVE is the son of John R. CAVE & Alexander's deceased daughter Rhoda Ann. John R. Cave is living nearby with a new wife, Carrie.
2. ) William R. SHAMBLIN is Nancy's son by her first marriage to a William Shamblin - he & mother Nancy are enumerated living alone together by the 1910 census.
3. ) Cora Ellen (Ham) Jackson is by Nancy's 2nd husband, James D. Ham.

By the 1910 census - wife Nancy Whitworth is listed as a widow.
