 Notes for P. A. Buskirk:

• P.A. Buskirk served in several units of the Union Army during the Civil War. In August 1862 he enlisted in Company H, 71st Indiana Volunteers and later transferred to the Sixth Cavalry. He was captured and paroled in VA and later in KY. This is from the History of Greene and Sullivan Counties, IN printed in 1884.
