CORINTH – Alfred "Freddie" Elliot, 66, passed away peacefully March 24, 2012, surrounded by his family at a Bangor hospital. Freddie was born Dec. 4, 1945, the son of Alfred and Virginia (Clark) Elliot Sr.
He was predeceased by his father. He is survived by his mother, Virginia; his sister, Judy Hunter and husband, Dwayne, of Clinton; sister, Bonnie Pinkham and husband, Fred, of Newburgh; brother, Galen and wife, Lisa, of Ellsworth; and a very special uncle, Eldon and aunt, Shirley. Freddie was greatly loved by his nephews, Andy, Rob, Steve and Mike; and nieces, Theresa, Christine, Amanda and Sara, and their families. He will be long remembered and sorely missed for his fun loving nature and unique agitation.
An accomplished teamster truck driver of 36 years, Freddie received numerous awards and recognition for years of service and safe driving. Retirement brought him back to Maine where he renewed old friendships and was a help to his mom. The family thanks the medical staff and Eastern Maine Medical Center for their care and kindness to Freddie and his family.
Burial will be at Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth. (Bangor Daily News posted 3/25/2012)
