About Alfred James Gorman
He served under General MacArthur in the Philippines during WW11. He was awarded two Bronze Stars and a medal for good conduct. He was also issued a lapel button, entitled to wear Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Campaign Ribbon, three overseas ribbons and a victory ribbon. He was honorably discharged at Jefferson City Barracks in MO on December 20, 1945. He was baptized at an early age and drove the church bus as a member of the Montauk Baptist Church.
