Funeral services for A. J. Ivie, Sr., 46, of 1376 Bankhead Highway, prominent member of the Bolton Masonic Club, who died at the residence Saturday night, will be conducted at 2 o'clock today at Spring Hill, with the Rev. S. H. Dixon and the Rev. T. P. Tribble officiating. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, A. J. Ivie, Jr., one daughter, Miss Mary Dell Ivie; his mother, Mrs. Mary Ivie, of Washington, D. C.; two brothers, O. P. Ivie of Montevallo, Alabama and W. E. Ivie of Washington, and one sister, Miss Carrie Ivie, of Washington.
Buried on row two, tiered section, near Holifield Mortuary.
Aged 46 years, 8 months, 27 days. Electrician. Married. Son of A. J. Ivie and Mary Perry/Ivie - both parents born in Alabama. Cause of death - chronic progressive muscular atrophy - paralysis of heart muscles. Last address was 1376 Bankhead Avenue, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.
