Alfred Posey, 509 Locust St. Reading, died Sunday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital, Reading. He was 68.
Born in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Peter and Rebecca Gross Posey and the husband of the late Mrs. Harriet M. Trayer Posey.
He was a retired plumber.
Surviving are three daughters Elizabeth, wife of Anthony Scianna, Mrs. Catherine Toole and Miriam, wife of Lester Rutt, all of Reading; 13 grandchildren a number of great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
