Alfredo Ticzon Ramirez, MD

Referred to as the Philippine Father of Burn Medicine, the Philippine General Hospital named its Burn Center the Alfredo Ticzon Ramirez Burn Center in his honor. He served as dean of the UP's College of Medicine from 1991 to 1994, and as the fifth chancellor of UP Manila from 1999 to 2002.In 1973 he was a recipient of the TOYM (The Outstanding Young Men) Award for Medicine.
