Alice Mae Benton

Ms. Alice Mae Benton, 81, of Nicholasville, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at her home.
She was born in Elizabethtown, KY on August 26, 1940, the daughter of the late Elijah Boyd Benton and Ethel Prewitt Benton. Ms. Benton was a nursing assistance at the St. Joe Hospital on Harrodsburg Road for over 28 years. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who was a caregiver not only at work and at home, but for anyone in need that she came across in her daily life.
Survivors include: her children, Tammy Brumagen, Tim Reed and Laura Randall; her brother, William Ray Benton & Paul Benton; three grandchildren, Joshua Brumagen, Trista Stephens, and Willa Brumagen; one great-grandchild, Riley Stephens; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her son, Roger Brumagen; one sister, Elizabeth Dale Carew; and one brother, Milton Benton.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, February 18, 2022, at the shelter in the Richmond Cemetery.
