She married Charles Blalock in Newton Co, MO on Sept. 19, 1898.
In April 1910, Charley & Alis, ages 41 & 38, were renting a home in Township 5, Craig Co, OK. Charley was doing odd jobs to support them. They had been married 15 years; Alice had given birth to 6 children but only three were living: Rosy, age 11; William, 7; & Eugene, 1 year & 10 months.
In 1920, Charles & Alice, ages 47 & 46, were renting a farm in Township 5, Craig Co, OK. Their children were William H., age 18; Herbert C., 12; Charles, 9; Ellen J., 5; Mary F., 2 years & 7 months; & Frank, 3 months.
Family information indicates that Charles died in 1924.
On April 29, 1930, Alice, age 53, a widow, lived with her son, William & his family in Peoria, Ottawa Co, OK. William, age 28, was married to Frances, 25. William & Frances had married when they were ages 20 & 17. Their children were Charles, age 5 & 9 months; Marcella, 4 years & 3 months; & Osetta, 1 year & 9 months.
Other members of the family were William's siblings: Charles, age 18; Janie, 16; Mary, 13; & Jackie (brother), 10. Silas Tucker, his uncle, age 68 (widowed), & his daughter, Ruth, age 12 (William's cousin) were other members of the large family.
"Mrs. Alice Blalock Welch, Okla. - Mrs. Alice Blalock who would have been 100 years old next June, died Friday morning at Miami Baptist hospital. She was admitted Thursday.
Mrs. Blalock lived at Welch, route 1. She was born in what was Indian Territory, but is now Peoria, Okla. She had lived in Ottawa county all of her life until the last two years.
Mrs. Blalock was the widow of Charlie Blalock, who died in 1924. She was a member of the Indian Baptist Mission of Promenade district, east of Quapaw, Okla.
Survivors include three daughters, Rosa Beets, Quapaw; Mrs. Mary Olsen, Miami, Okla., and Mrs. Ellen Logan of the home at Welch: four sons, William Blalock of Tulsa, Okla., Charles W. Blalock of Dewey, Okla., Herbert Blalock of Quapaw and Jack Blalock of Lawrence, Kan.; thirty-two grandchildren; forty-eight great-grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Hunter Funeral Home of Picher."

"Mrs. Alice Blalock Welch, Okla. - Services for Mrs. Alice Blalock, 88 years old, who died Friday morning in the Miami Baptist hospital, will be at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Indian Baptist Mission. The Rev. Jack Comer will officiate. Burial will be in Peoria cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Rosa Beets of Quapaw. Grandchildren will be pallbearers."
