Alice I. Hamilton

Services for Mrs. Alice Hamilton, 218 1/2 Elm St., were held at 2:00 p.m., Sept 4, 1966 at the First United Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Arden Johnson, officiated. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery. Pallbearers were Laurence Arvidson, Elmer Domke, Howard Domke, Leonard Winneggee, Anton Essler, and Louis Beecher. Mrs. Hamilton died in St. Michael's Hospital Sept. 1, 1966 at the age of 77 years. She was born June 3, 1889, in Sauk Centre, the daughter of Walter and Isabella Cumming. On Oct. 30, 1912 she was married to Roy Hamilton. They farmed from 1912 to 1950. He preceded her in death in 1957. Surviving are her children: Glenn Hamilton of Suk Centre; Ms. Raymond (Jeanette) Essler, Sauk Centre; Mrs. Merle (Clytia) Allshouse, St. Paul; Leta Hamilton of Minneapolis and Laurel Hamilton of Eagle Bend; brothers, William Cumming of Sauk Centre; Vinnette Cumming of Granite Falls, a sister, Mrs. Archie Thompson of Minot, N. Dk. and 15 grandchildren.
