1. RICHARD HULL. Born in 1521 in Of Crewkerne, Somersetshire, England. Richard died in Somersetshire, England, ca 1559; he was 38. Bef 1552 when Richard was 31, he married Alice ?. Born ca 1533 in prob. England. Alice died in prob. England, aft 1559; she was 26.

An unknown number of children were born, but included:

2 i. THOMAS (ca1552-<1636)

He married second, circa 1550, Alice. Alice's will was dated 12 October 1587 and was proved in November 1587. Richard's will was dated 10 February 1558/59 and was proved in June 1559. Richard's will refers to Thomas, the elder, and also to Thomas [probably the younger]. St. Bartholomew's parish records also uses the term "Thomas, the elder." Alice's will does not refer to either Raynold of Thomas, the elder. This leads to the conclusion that they were sons by the first wife. The original wills of Richard and Alice were destroyed by fire at the Exeter Probate Registry.2
