Mrs. Alice F. John Dies at Sapulpa

Sapulpa, Jan. 3-Mrs. Alice Fox John a Creek Indian, died Saturday afternoon at her home here. She was about 79.

Born at Yahola, she spent most of her life in Tulsa county and moved to Sapulpa 2 years ago.

Surviors include three sons, Columbus Freeman, Tulsa: Riley John, Sapulpa, and William John, Spavinaw: three daughters, Mrs Lucinda Watashe, Sapulpa: Mrs. Fannie Kelly, 105 W. Fairview st., Tulsa, and Mrs. Viola Thomas, Sapulpa, and 22 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Snake Creek Baptist Church, south of Bixby. Interment will be in Bixby cemetery under direction of the Owen funeral home, Sapulpa.
