Alice Lingen

Alice Pye, daughter of Walter Pye and his wife, Joyce Rudhale, was baptised at Much Dewchurch in Herefordshire on 3 May 1612. [1]

On 3 April 1627 she married Henry Lingen, son of the Catholic Edward Lingen and his wife, Blanche Bodenham. [2]Alice went to her husband with £1000 and bore him 3 sons, one of whom died in his father's lifetime, and 6 daughters. [3]

Henry died on 22 January 1662 leaving Alice with considerable debts for which she was granted some compensation.[3]

One of these twenty-three was Edward.
