Alice was born on the farm at Kincaid. Took her public schooling at Dixie School District, studied for her grade eight and nine by correspondance. Took her grade eleven and twelve at Lanigan High School. Went to Saskatoon where she received her registered nurses degree. She nursed in a number of places during the war. When the war ended she and her husband moved to Price Albert where they made their home. She continued to nurse in the hospital and later in a doctors office until her death in l978.
