Alice M. Redinger

Alice M. Redinger, 85, of Cedar Haven died Saturday, Nov. 9, 1991, in the home. She was the wife of the late Harry E. Redinger, Sr., who died April 27, 1975.

Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Valentine S. and Lillian E. Gockley Steiner. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, was active in the Lebanon Senior Center, a past president of the Three As of the church, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are sons Harry E. Redinger Jr., Lebanon, and Ralph E. Redinger, Cleona; four daughters, Ida E., wife of Dr. Kerry H. Gingrich, Anna M. Gingrich, and A. June, wife of Mark A. Gingrich, all of Lebanon, and Marian L., wife of William Schwartz, Womelsdorf; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Ida Gilkerson, Lebanon.

She was preceded in death by a son, George G. Redinger, who died in 1990.

Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1991 in Christman's Funeral Home, Lebanon, for Alice M. Steiner Redinger of Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Harry E. Redinger Sr.

The Rev. John L. Stube, interim pastor of Salem Lutheran Church, officiated. Entombment was in Grand View Mausoleum. Pallbearers were Kevin Gingrich, Kerry Gingrich, Scott Gingrich, Keith Schwartz, Douglas Redinger, and Ralph Shultz.
