Peter Clarke Daniel's first wife, Elizabeth died on 29 Dec 1833 and he never married

Ann MITCHLEY who died 26 Sept 1838. His 2nd wife was Ann SMITH whom he
married on 23 May 1840. They had a daughter, Ann of which nothing is
known. But during this marriage he had an affair with Ann Maria POTE
and had several children with her before he eventually married her on
23 Feb 1850. The children were:

John DANIEL
Charlotte DANIEL * 28 Mar 1841
Elizabeth DANIEL * Aug 1842
Robert James DANIEL * 1 Jul 1844
Charles DANIEL * abt 1848

Peter eventually died on 21 May 1852. I don't know when Ann Maria POTE
died.

So as you can see he was quite the man. The children were mixed up on
the lists of the 1820 Settlers. I have given you the names as given to
me by Dan Daniel who paid researchers in England and Canada and here
to do his research.
