Alice Rode

Biography
She was born in Chester, Cheshire County, England.

Alice Moreton married Thomas Rode of Odd Rode, Cheshire.[1] They had children James and Randulph (Randle) but Alice seems to have died before 1577 as a second wife Elizabeth is shown in the Rode family pedigree.[2]

Thomas Rode of Odd Rode died in 1577 leaving a will proved 11 July 1577 and mentioning wife Helena, eldest son Rondolphe, other son James, grandson Thomas son of Rondolph, so there seems to have been a third marriage if the pedigree is correct.[3] Thomas asked to be buried at Astbury, Cheshire, "in the chancell where my ancestors lie" so Alice may have been buried there too.
