Two Long Beach Women Die; 1 Self Slain; 2d, Mystery

Following the finding of the bodies of two women at Long Beach, arrangements were made today to sign a certificate of suicide in the case of one and to hold an inquest over the second, believed to have died from heart failure. The women are Mrs. Emma Van Wagoner, 55. of 320 Walnut avenue, who hanged herself in her room, and Mrs. R. R. Sant, 746 Maine avenue, who was found hanging by the neck in a roller towel. Friends stated that Mrs. Sant has been suffering from heart trouble and that it is possible she had a fainting spell and fell into the loop of the towel. Mrs. Van Wagoner is survived by a husband, P. P. Van Wagoner and seven children. Four of the children are living here and three in Canada.
