

DEXTER - Alida M. Curty, 84, died July 3, 1982, at a Brunswick hospital after a long illness. She was born in Dexter, Oct. 15, 1897, the daughter of Joseph and Virginia (LaPlante) Cloutier. She was a communicant of St. Anne's Church of Dexter and was a former members of St. Anne's Sodality. She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Connell of Dexter and Charlene Beady of Cape Elizabeth; two sisters, Alice Lavalle and Dorothy Latondresse, both of Pascoag, R.I.; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Curty was predeceased by her husband, Louis A. Curty in 1953 and by a son, Dana L. Curty in 1977. A Mass of Christian Burial was at St. Anne's Church, Dexter, with the Rev. Richard Rokas officiating, Arrangements were by Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. The Eastern Gazette 7-7-1982,p.10
