About Alta Madeline Vint
Alta M. "Brownie" Vint of Bedford, IN, died Saturday, May 9, 1998, at the Bloomington Convalescent Center. She was born on February 13, 1924, in Lawrence County, IN, the daughter of Earl and Dora (Young) Bodenhamer. She married Leo James Vint on February 27, 1946, and he died September 6, 1991.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Bugh of Bedford, IN; two granddaughters; five great grandsons; one sister, Sharen Haas of Springville, IN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister, Nellie Stillions.
She was a homemaker and an avid quilter. She was a graduate of Needmore High School, Class of 1942.
Services for Alta Vint will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, 1998, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
