ALVA J. PRITTS
Alva J. Pritts, 76, of Rockwood, died June 10, 1975, in Meyersdale
Community Hospital. Born June 3, 1899, in Champion, he was a son of
Henry and Sara Berg Pritts. He was preceded in death by his wife,
the former Gladys Heinbaugh, Feb. 22, 1965.
Mr. Pritts was a member of Pine Turn Hunting Camp and Casselman
E.U.B. Church.
Surviving are a son, Wallace R. of Michigan; four daughters, Mrs.
Edward Garrett, of Danville, Va.; Mrs. Joseph Rojcan, Warren, Ohio;
Mrs. John Welling, Connellsville; and Mrs. James Budine, Walton,
N.Y. Also 15 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; two brothers,
James Edward of Champion RD 1, and Hobart, of Somerset; and a sister,
Nettie Pritts, also of Somerset.
Funeral service was held Thursday afternoon, June 12, in William J.
Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Rev. H. B. Sizemore officiating.
Interment in IOOF Cemetery, Rockwood.
