Alvin Marion Reed, nicknamed Peck, age 69, of 5504 S Agnew, Oklahoma City, OK, died Friday in his home after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 11 am Monday at Vondel L. Smith Mortuary with burial at 3:00 pm in Clinton Cemetery, Clinton OK. Reed was born in Wills Point Tx to James Marion and Mary Elizabeth Renfrow Reed. He moved to Oklahoma City in 1957 from Twitty, Tx. He had been shift foreman for Produce Co-op Mill and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Bernice; two daughters, Mrs Joyce Kappel and Mrs. Joy Kendall, both of Oklahoma City, OK; two sons, Duane of Poteau Ok and Ronald of Oklahoma City; three brothers, James (Mike) Reed, Anderson CA, Claude Reed of Wills Point Tx and Howard Leon (Slim) Reed of Clinton OK and two sisters, Mrs. Clota Dean Miller of Cordell OK and Mrs. Lucille Simmons of Wichita, KS.
