Obituary for Amanda Hortense Brewer Bowler from Deseret News, April 12, 2000: Hortense passed away April 12, 2000 at Holbrook, Arizona of natural causes. She was born April 6, 1909 at Pinedale, Arizona to Amanda Rodgers and Edward Brewer. She married Harry M. Bowler July 24, 1926.She is survived by six children, Ernest, Lyle, Ruby, John, Harry and Del. Preceded in death by her husband, Harry; and four children, EvaRose, Ruth, Dot and Peggy. Her posterity also includes 26 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17 at 11 a.m., LDS Chapel in Holbrook, Arizona. Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery, 4335 W. 4100 S. West Valley, Utah. Graveside services Tuesday, April 18, 2000, 3 p.m.
