AMANDA HENDRICKSON Town of Verona Woman Dies at 80
ROME -- Mrs. Amanda Hendrickson, 80, Greenway-Verona Mills Road, wife of Elmer Hendrickson, died Tuesday in a Rome Hospital.
She was born in Finland, daughter of Karl and Elizabeth Gustafson. She came to America in 1913 and was married to Mr. Hendrickson in 1923 in Rome. She had lived in the Town of Verona for the past 29 years, previously living in Westmoreland.
Mrs. Hendrickson was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves four daughters. Mrs. George F. (Margaret) Mowers, Rome; Mrs. Robert L. (Lucy) Bauer, West Winfield; Mrs. Roy W. (Ellen) Hawkins, Northwestern and Mrs. Arthur W. (Jane) Sibelius, Darien Conn., and a brother and step-sister in Finland. The funeral will be at 1 tomorrow from the Martin J. Nunn Funeral home with the Rev. Paul A. Boriack, pastor of St. John's Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Churchville. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
