About Ambrose Raymond Bowser
A West Kittanning heart patient, 74-year-old Ambrose Bowser, died at his home at 326 Cleveland St. at 10:30 p.m. yesterday (June 19, 1955) Mr. Bowser had suffered from the heart ailment for the past three years. He was a Worthington native, born Nov. 7, 1880, a son of Felix and Mary Ann (Bowser) Bowser. Mr. Bowser was the husband of the former Maude Lasher, who survives along with three sons, Frank W. of Worthington, Edward H. of Butler RD 3 and Felix A. of Kittanning RD 4. Two brothers and four sisters survive also as follows: Harry of Worthington RD, Mrs. Elizabeth Lewis of Worthington; Mrs. Ella Toy of Kittanning, Mrs. Ivy Bish of Kittanning RD 3 and Mrs. Myrtle Bowser of Butler. Nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received at the Bauer funeral home here. Rev. Ralph Newell, pastor of Kittanning First Baptist Church, will conduct funeral services at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be made in the Presbyterian Church cemetery at Worthington.
