Amy Gurney's name and vital facts are clearly known to Norman Bryan who participated in compiling this data, and are not in dispute. Early residences are more unclear. Supplemental information such as occupation and some addresses have been obtained from relevant Birth and Marriage registers.

March 2015: Updated Amy's residence at 23 back 256 Long Acre to be at least 1950-1951, as we now have proof from the 1950 electoral register that Amy was living at this address with husband John, mother Amy Gurney, and also Grace and Peter Horkan. Given Amy Gurney died on 8/8/1950 we can assume Amy was living there at least from that date. UPDATE and also from the 1945 Electoral Roll, living there with mother Amy Gurney. John Bryan probably on active service.
