Our goal is to facilitate creating the grand Kashmiri Pandit family tree. The tree as it currently stand covers more than 16,000 people spanning roughly last 200 years. it mostly comprises old kashmiri's i.e. kashmiri's who migrated to Hindustan between the 18th and 19th centuries. The migrations took them first to Lahore, Lucknow and Delhi and then beyond. Some of the more common places of sizable population included here are Jaipur, Jodhpur, Dehradoon, Amritsar, Indore, Kanpur, Agra, Allahabad and calcutta among others.

The tree is the combined effort of more than 300 people who have put the information on GENI over the last 5 years. This has further been enriched by conversations with hundreds of individuals and using Shajra's, books and other literature published and stored with various KP families since the late 19th century .
