Anders Johannesson Røyrhus

Anders first married Synnøve Rasmusdatter Bakke, but she died shortly after. The year after her death he married Brithe Salvesdatter Frøysa and they had several children together. Anders was very rich, and his wedding gift to his daugther Siri and her husband Peder was a great ale bowl filled with silver coins - and this was during a time when most people had economical problems. The following words was inscribed into the bowl:

"Jeg er af Fader og Moder foræret i Brudegave. Vad heri bliver lagt. Siger derfor Tak."
