" Baptismal reocrds for Andrew Alt are found in the files of St. Paul's (Wolf's) Reformed church West Manchester township York county Pennsylvania. The itmes are as follows: Andreas b. 91/19/1781 bap. 10/14/17811 parents Valentine Alt Cath. sponsors Andreas Lau and wife [Records of St. Pauls (Wolf's Reformed Church West Manchester township York county Pa. Collections of th Historical Society of York county pg. 11 
Andrew's name, spelled Ault appeared in the assessment rolls of Washington county Pennsylvania 1812-12 through 1814-15 when his name was followed by the word "removed" The earliest of these lists descrides Andrew as a  single man, assessed for 1 horse, 1 cow 1 dog.. The roll for 1812-13 lists him as married, the word "married" bein substituted for the cancelled word "single" in the records.  

United States census records for Andrew Ault include the following:

1830 Ohio Morgan county Manchester township head of household Andrew Ault males 5-10 = 1 10-15 = 0 15-20 = 0 40-50 = 1 females 5-10 = 0 10-15 = 2 15-20 = 2 40-50 = 1.

1840 Ohio Morgan county Manchester township head of household Andrew Ault males males 15-20 = 1 50-60 = 1 females 15-20 = 1 50-60 = 1.

1850 Sepptember 21 Ohio Morgan county Manchester township Mary Ault 75 Pa., Jacob 36 Laborer Pa.

On December  9, 1822  [Washington county Pa. Deeds Book 2 Q pg. 80], Andrew Ault and his  wife Mary residents of Morgan county Ohio  deeded land in Somerset township, Washington county, Pennsylvania to  John Clodfelter. On August 3, 1827  they signed the deed noted above on  page  86 which  conveyed the title to Andrew's father  Valentine Ault's land in Belmont county Ohio to Thomas Genin  [Belmont county Ohio Deeds Book M pg. 57 ff]. Andrew died  before April 12, 1842. On that date his daughter Julian deeded to Miichael Kuntz her equal share the  undivided  one-fifth  of  all the real estate of her fathe,, deceased   [Morgan county Ohio Deeds Book P  og, 570--1]. Andrew's son Jacoob and his  daughter Elizabeth (Mrs. George Kuntz)  signed a simlar deed relative to their equal shares,  undivided two-fifths of their father, Andrew's real estate.. The latter date was March 22, 1845  [Morgan county Ohio Deeds Book P  og, 570-1]. 

Andrew married Mary Clodfetler, daughter of Michael [Michael Glatfelter his signature in German scriipt to his will dated 12/10/1823 probated 6/11/1824 Washington county Pennsylvania Will Book 4 pg. 70-1] whose other children were George, of York county, and Jacob, John,, Margaret and Philip all of Washington county, Pennsylvania. Michael Clodfelter is termed 'deceased' in the deed signed by the above named children on April 9, 1825, transferring title to land held in Washington county, Somerset townshiip, Pennsylvania [Washington county Pa. Deeds Book 2 Q pg. 38-9]."
