About Andrew Adams
Litchfield Monitor 12 December 1804
DIED, at an unexpected moment, his extinction sudden as a flitting meteor, about 3 o'clock on Sunday morning last, of Dropsy, aged 38, Mr. Andrew Adams, of this town. — Had he Frailties ? then let frailty scrutinize and know itself, and 'hold the Mirror up to nature,' before, with stern severity, we censure Imperfections. His feeling, friendly heart, could feel for others, what he felt himself. The sorry tale of craving Poverty could melt his heart; and had he nought to give, — he'd give a Tear.
Kind charity ! for what he was, in Sympathy and Friendship, obscure his Faults within the sacred bosom of the Grave. --- The decreased has left an endearing wife and two children.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Jan 10 2023, 17:22:23 UTC
