Clement's name is found in the book, Colonial Maryland Naturalizations listing him as the son of Andrew Clementson who was "transported to Maryland in 1663 from New Amstel."
Clement is named in his father's will where he is bequethed one heifer, two years old. It is also recorded in his father's will that his personal estate was to be divided among his wife and children "excepting my son Clement, who has already received his portion."
Clement and his wife, Margaret, lived on a one hundred acre plantation located on Little Elk Creek, called Successor.
Clement's widow, Margaret, is listed as owner of Successor on the 1707 Cecil Co. MD Rent Roll.
Clement and Margaret's son, Gabriel inherited the Successor plantation after the death of Margaret.
