Andrew Pickens Gary

President of the Elan Corp. and former program manager with WNOK-FM.

He was graduated from Dreher High School and the University of South Carolina where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

He served two years in the Air Force and was stationed in Casablanca, Morocco. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Gary was also a member of the 1970 campaign staff of Rep. Albert W. Watson, R.-S.C., in Watson's unsuccessful bid for governor as a Republican.

He died in an automobile accident in Columbia, Richland County, South Carolina.
