Note from relative Debbie Gambrell. Everywhere I find dates for John and Margaret's children, Mary is always listed born 1784, Andrew sometimes has no dob but when he does, his is always 1784 also. However, I don't know the source for those lists. I did find reference to where Mary "Polly"'s dob comes from an old family Bible: From Deviney book, John Gambrell b. 18 July 1783; died 29 Jan 1866 in Anderson county; m. 10 Oct. 1805 Mary Harper, b. 4 March 1784; died 28 may 1875.
