It has been alleged by family descendants (Noda York & Charlie Staley) that Andrew Jackson, Jr age about twenty three married the widow Mary "Polly" SAVAGE TURNER age twenty one in 1818. They had a son Andrew JACKSON, III born 23 Dec 1819 perhaps out of wedlock. Andrew JACKSON, Jr. left the union leaving his namesake son and a young consort. Next Mary "Polly" SAVAGE TURNER JACKSON age twenty five married a third time in 1822 to Darius YORK age twenty.
