About Andrew E. Logan
Andrew T. Logan – His exact birth and death dates are found on Find-a-Grave. The gravestone is an actual stone instead of being “virtual.” The dates given are 30 Aug 1772 – 14 Apr 1849, but the stone is almost illegible, so I am not sure about the exact dates. The entry on Find-a-Grave gives the same birthdate for James and his assumed brother, Andrew. He died before the 1850 census was enumerated, so his birth year is not available there. The census records of Rutherford County for 1800, 1810, 1820, and 1830 consistently give him as being born in the 1770s. He married Polly Hyder in 1801, and Polly was born in the 1770s. Even though I have not seen a mention of a family Bible, I believe that descendants of Andrew and Polly must possess a family Bible, for much has been recorded about them and their children. Andrew was very likely a son of Frances and Hannah Logan.
