From Ernie Moore: Andy homesteaded in Telford, Wa ( a junction about 13 miles east of Creston). He had milk cows. He left Creston when the cows got rabies and they all had to be killed. Neva went to school in Creston.
From obituary (Wenatchee Dailey World, July 25, 1966) Born in Libery Co., Mo., Oct., 27, 1892, he came with his parents to Creston, Wa in 1902. In 1913 he married Georgia Bernice Warren at Rocklyn and they came to Wenatchee, Wa. in 1922. Mr. Morgan was first employed by Milot-Mills, later serving as a police officer in Wenatchee, Wa. (His daughter said he was the night Captain). He also worked several years at Centennial Mills and Grange Supply before retiring in 1965.
Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Youngberg, Monitired, and Mrs. Carol Chapman; four sisters, Mrs. Leroy McKinley, Seattle; Mrs. John Tilton, Edmonds; Mrs. Lennie Makee, Umatilla, Or., and Mrs. Carl Laundberg in Ca; and three grandsons. He was preceded in death by his wife May 26, 1965.
