Andries Johannes Thomas Calitz

Andries Johannes Thomas CALITZ was the 2nd of two children of Pieter Melt Coetzee Calitz and Engela Maria (born Claassen, x Calitz, xx Lombaard).

His older sister Rina - Catharina Petronella Mc Donald (born Calitz).

x 31 Jul 1965 Pretoria to Emerentia (Emmie) born CALITZ (div.1984). They had 4 children: Michelle, Belinda Ellain, Lynette, Melt.

(Kallie & Emmie's 3rd Great Grandfathers [Johannes Mattheus CALITZ b2c8 & Matthys Christiaan CALITZ b2c6] were brothers)

xx 06 Jul 1991 in the AGS Herlewingsentrum, Pretoria to surviving spouse Elsa - Elsje Johanna Gelderblom (born Siecker on 14 Sep 1937 x Gelderblom xx Calitz). - they had no children. They lived in Stilbaai for the last few years.

He was passionate about his children. Peacemaker in the family. Loved animals (dogs, fish and birds). He used to feed wild birds. He loved fishing and was part of the Transvaal TPA Club who went to Germany on a fresh water angling tour in the 1970's.

He was buried on top of his father, Pieter Melt Coetzee Calitz, in the same grave at Zandfontein Cemetery, Pretoria North.
