Andy Sanders

Andy "Homeboy" Sanders 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 13, 2006. He was employed by General Motors Truck & Bus as a forklift driver, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Greater St. Mark Baptist Church, U.A.W. Local #23 and he loved to play checkers.

Services will be held on Friday, April 21, 2006 at Noon in Grace Missionary Baptist Church, 1501 North College Avenue. Friends may call on Friday, April 21, 2006 from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Novetta Sanders; sons, Reginald Sanders (Freda), Anthony Sanders, Dr. Jamil Abdul Hadi (Barbara) of Egypt, William Dennis, Victor Sanders (Maretha); daughter, Andrea Sanders of Irving, Texas; brothers, Walter (Birdia), Jimmie (Ruby), Willie J. (Mary), Johnnie (Jennie), Albert (Eunice), Willie G, Sammie (Mary), Saul (Rose), sisters, Lottie Tate, Willa Thomas (George), both of Birmingham, Alabama Lilllian Highbaugh (Victor); 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Arrangements entrusted to Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home.
