- "Mrs. Annie Loehr died Monday, January 6, 1902, at her home in Hiawatha Park, of bright's disease of the kidneys at the age of 60 years. Mrs. Loehr leaves a family of five children, two daughters and a son living in this city and a daughter at Hot Springs. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the M.E. church, Rev. Todd officiating. Interment will take place in the South Lead cemetery under the direction of J.A. Marcoux.
- "Lead Daily Tribune (Lead, South Dakota), Tuesday, January 7, 1902, page 2: Died -- At her home in Hiawatha Park this morning at 3 o'clock, Mrs. Annie Loehr died from Bright's disease. Mrs. Loehr was 60 years of age and leaves four children, three daughters and a son to mourn the loss. All the children live in Lead except Mrs. H.C. Little, whose residence is in Hot Springs. The funeral, directed by J.L. Marcoux, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Methodist church, Rev. Todd officiating. Interment will be in South Lead cemetery."
