Mrs. Daniel Eby passed away at her home, Bleam's Road, east of Wilmot Centre, on Sunday after a lingering illness. She was in her 73rd year.

Mrs. Eby was born in Waterloo township on July 7th, 1869, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hy. Baer. After her marriage to Mr. Eby, they took up residence in Wilmot Township, where she lived until the time of her death. She was a member of the Latschar Mennonite Church.

Her husband, two sons, Edwin, on the home farm, Gordon, of Breslau, and daughter, Ellen, at home, three sisters, Elvina, (Mrs. Wm. Bachert), Kitchener, Louisa, (Mrs. Irvin Shantz), Preston, Eva, (Mrs. John Francis), Kitchener, five brothers, Moses, New Dundee, Ephraim, New Hamburg, Simon, Petersburg, Josiah, Wainwright, Alta., and Norman, of Petersburg, survive.

The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the family residence to the Latschar Mennonite Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Bishop M. Hallman and Rev. Lorne Schmidt were in charge of the services.
