Angus Jamieson "AJ" MacLean

MacLEAN, Angus Jamieson - 84, 297 Rotary Dr., Sydney, formerly of Christmas Island, died August 31, 1993, in Sydney City Hospital.

Born at Christmas Island, he was a son of the late Archie and Mary (MacLean) MacLean. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church and was a retired steelworker, having worked in the blast furnace department of Sydney Steel.

He is survived by his wife, the former Pauline McDaniel; three daughters, Georgina (Mrs. Matt Doucet), Sydney Forks; Barbara (Mrs. John Dawson), Patricia, both of Toronto; four sons, Alphonse, Fort McMurray, Alta.; Anslem, Sydney; Colin, Glace Bay; David, Toronto; three sisters, Mrs. Cleo MacLellan, Mary (Mrs. Joe Walker), both of Sydney; Christine, Ontario; brother, John D. MacLean, Boston, Mass.; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Helen McAdam; son, Angus John in infancy; three brothers, Hector, Dan Joe, Jimmy; three sisters, Celia, Mary Anne, Annie.

Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in the T.W. Curry ParkviewChapel. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Church, Rev. AlexanderMacNeil officiating. Burial will be in St. Barra Cemetery, Christmas Island
