Peter McNeil, and his Descendants.
This man was a native of Barra. It appears that he was one of the last immigrants that came to this parish, because there was not a lot of land available for him but a sterile one on the bleak side of the mountain above the Barra Fall, Rear Big Beach.
He was married to Catherine, daughter of Michael McNeil, of Barra. Issue: — Neil, James, Angus, and Michael.
James and Angus (Peter) bought the lands that Alexander and Neil McNeil, Ben’s sons, had at Rear Big Beach.
Angus McNeil (Peter) was a good citizen and a very religious man. He was married to Mary, daughter of John McNeil (Ben). Issue: — Catherine, John, Mary, Ann, Mary, Michael, Malcolm, Neil, and Rory.
