John Og was a good violinist. He was taught by Donald Campbell (Ban), the famous violin player of St. Peter’s, who, tradition says, received his musical gifts in a fairy hill or “sithean.” He settled at Castle Bay, and married Catherine, daughter of Angus Campbell, Big Cove, Richmond Co.

Issue: — John, Peggie, Stephen, Teresa, Mary, and Angus.

Angus went to the United States and fought in the Civil War. He died in South Carolina
