Obituary of Angus Parent Parent, Angus suddenly at home in Essex in his 75th year. Beloved husband of the late Ann Parent. Loving father of Michael Parent (Debby), Todd Parent (Claudia) and Darren Close (Katie). Dearest grandpa of Elizabeth, Jennifer and Jessica Parent and Sabrina and Eric Parent. Dear brother of Jake Parent (late Jean), Jack Simpson (Anna), Jean Pierce (Rex) and predeceased by many other brothers and sisters. Angus had over 35 years of service with Essex County Highways as a Grader Operator. He was a wonderful friend and neighbour and the light of his life were his grandchildren who he adored. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Avenue East, Essex (519-776-4233) on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to celebrate Angus's life will be held from the funeral home on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 11 am. Reverend Kim Gilliland officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Leamington.
