The eldest son, Burdett Ashton, of Chestnut Hill, King George's County, born November 21, 1747, married December 19, 1768, Anne, the daughter of Augustine Washington II.; she was born April 2,1752. He was member of State Convention 1788, Delegate 1799 to 1800, etc. Issue: Charles Augustine, died 1800; Burdett, Sarah and Ann.”
