Biography ==Anne Short was born 12 April 1663citation needed<ref>this date wasimported with gedcom</ref> or 1666. A daughter of Henry Short and Miriam Ingram of Sussex, she was born in England, possibly Sussex.

She immigrated aboard the Welcome, and along with her siblings was beneficiary of her uncle Isaac Ingram's will, written aboard the ship as he lay dying.
"Ann Short married, 1st intentions, Chichester and Concord Meeting, 2nd intentions, Birmingham, 11 2nd mo. 1687, Joel Baily, baptized at Bromhill, Wiltshire, 29 Jan. 1658, died between the 9 12th mo. 1731/2 and8 April 1732."<ref>McCracken, George E. <i>The Welcome Claimants Proved, Disproved and Doubtful with an Account of Some of Their Descendants.</i> (Baltimore, Genealogical Pub.
